My sincere appreciation and gratitude Karen! You a star facilitator and I learned a lot from you...not only the content of the “Facilitation Skills” 4 day seminar but also how to be an ace facilitator. I respect the work that you did and am honoured to have had an opportunity to be inspired by you to continue on with my group facilitation goals.

Who knew all that could happen in a couple of days! Our senior team is much closer and thanks to Karen and Alf, stronger and more interdependent. Thanks for the flexibility and in determining what our REAL underlying needs were, not what we thought they were.

Karen wears many hats here at PeerNetBC. sShe has been teaching our facilitator class for 6 years, is an artist, which she incorporates into her facilitating, a community collaborator, strategic planner, and marketing consultant. She balances these hats with her personal counselling and facilitation business as well. Karen is remarkable because she continues to support and connect our community as she helps build capacities in facilitation, communication, and personal awareness for growth. Karen creates inclusive and welcoming learning spaces for diverse marginalized folks in our community. Karen's spirit, laughter, and energy is infectious and we hope that this recognition will help spread her spirit, laughter and energy throughout Vancouver.
